**************************Contest Concepts***************************************
Each contest building is labeled as “Open”, “Advanced” , or “Master” Contests. The “Open” level is for all participants, you don't have to have any ribbons to enter. There are several “Open” level contest building throughout the region. Once you have won an “Open” level contest, then you may move onto the the “Advanced” level contest. This, obviously is going to be a tougher show to have to put on then the “Open” level. It takes 3 “Advanced” level ribbons to be able to move onto the almighty “Master” level. The “Master” level is a a competition for the most seasoned Pokemon contestants. This is the hardest of the competitions. You must win 2 “Master” level competitions to be crowned as the “Golden Contestant”.
Incentives*************************************
Other than the pretty ribbons you receive, you get other prizes for winning each contest.
“Open” Level: A contest ribbon , granting access to the “Advanced” level. ; $1500
“Advanced” Level: 1st time: A contest ribbon; $3000
2nd time: A contest ribbon; $3500; TM45( Attract)

Judging************************************************
The judging in the Sinnoh region is very similar to the judging in the show. They will judge based on how much the moves used actually displays the contest type. For instance...if a pokemon used “Iron Tail” in a cute contest, they would not get too many points, because that's more of a tough move. However!! The judging here, is not like the judging in the game. It's based soley off of what the judge thinks. If the judge honestly thinks that iron tail is a cute move to make, then they can judge you very well. So it's basically opinion for the judges. Here are the 3 different segments of each contest:
1.Preliminary Judging- The judges will rate the actual looks of a pokemon on a scale of 1 to 10.
2.Pokemon battling- The judges will rate the battle style of a pokemon and how much it illustrates the contest type(i.e Beuaty) on a scale of 1 to 10. Just because you win the battle, it doesn't mean that you are the winner. However, if you do win, You get plus 3 points added to your score.
3.Special Tricks- In this part of the contest, the judges rate the actual special talents on a scale of 1 to 10. Once again, the judges, will rate the pokemon's talent based on how well, they illustrate the contest type. Just because you use a more powerful attack in your talent, doesn't mean you will win.
Finally, remember...the judges do not go by some written code of judging. It's their opinion on how well the move illustrates the contest type. So don't argue that on the game your pokemon would have won, because this is not the game.
Also, based on the rating that your pokemon is given, you will accumulate the correspoindg amount of points.
Example:
Let's say we have contestants Connie, Alex, and Nina. Connie's skitty got a 4.5 in the 1st segment, a 1 in the 2nd segment and a 10 in the 3rd segment. Her total score would be a 15.5. Let's say Alex's ninjask got a 6 in the 1st segment, a 5.6 in the second segment and a 3 in the 3rd segment...his total score would be a 14.6. But Nina's clefairy got a 7 in all segments. Making her total score 21. This would mean that Nina's clefairy is the winner!
*****Contest Types******************
Here are the following contest types that greatly alter the way the judge's judging and how your pokemon will fare:
TOUGH
CUTE
BEAUTY
SMART
COOL
<><><><><><><><><><><Misc. Information<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><
*In order to have a contest we must have atleast 3 participants but no more than 6.
We will have no more than 3 judges, unless we have a guest judge^^, of course. Also each judge will give a rating, and the average of their ratings will be the score for the segment. (i.e If one judge gives a 3, one judge gives a 2, and one gives a 5, then the trainer's score for the segment would be a 3.3, rounding to the nearest tenth.)
It is encouraged that you give your pokemon a nickname as that may make the judges like your pokemon a little more~_^; although it is not required.
It is also suggested that you give your pokemon certain pokeblocks to increase the apperance.
In the judging of the pokemon's appearance, you will describe your pokemon as third person. (So your character won't say it, but it's not out of character)
You are also welcome to dress your pokemon up or put little bows or accessories on it, if it wil wear it, lol^^
